Jack D. Reese, 80, passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015.

He was born Nov. 3, 1934, near Mountain View, son of Cloyd and Lucille Reese. He and Muriel Wilkinson were married in 1959 in Massachusetts.

He was enlisted in the Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician, 2nd Class. He served with Attack Squadron #122 at the North Island NAS in San Diego, Calif.

He was passionate about restoring old cars, especially Packard’s. He loved to attend antique car shows and occasionally would bring one of his own antiques.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marjory Reese.

Survivors include his wife, Denise; three children, Janice Reese, Karl Reese and Scott Reese; a brother, Justin Reese of Mountain View; a sister, Linda Reese of Springfield; three grandchildren; and two nephews.

Services were Thursday, Jan. 29, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. Dorvan Stringer officiating. Burial with military honors was in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.
