Thelma Jean Fraser, 63, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.
She was born Jan. 7, 1951, in St. Louis, daughter of Dorothy Dalton and her first husband, Lee Colonius.
She was known by all of her friends as “Jean” and her grandchildren as “Nana.”
Jean and her husband, Jerry, moved to Licking 15 years ago after retiring from Shop’N Save in St. Louis. They were together 30 years and enjoyed vacations, fishing trips, going to the beach in Florida and Mississippi and weekend bbqs.
She enjoyed music and dancing. She loved planting flowers, bushes and unusual plants in her yard and garden.
Survivors include her children and stepchildren, Jean Brueggeman, Kathern Sutton, Dawn Lay, Rhea Anderson, Kevin Fraser, Kelly Fraser and Patrick Fraser; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diane Herbert and Mary Kathern Amman; a special friend, Bette Jo Colonius; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial services were Saturday, Jan. 17, at Fox Fire Station Community Room with Rick Mosher officiating. Services were under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
