Mary S. Stone, 94, passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at her home in Licking.
She was born March 12, 1920, in Maples, daughter of Utah and Mildred Wilson Scott. She and Dean Stone were married Jan. 6, 1940, in Salem.
She and her husband, Dean, spent their entire lives near Licking. For many years they were engaged in farming. In her younger years, she also taught school. Later she was employed at the office of Personnel Management at Ft. Leonard Wood, where she worked for many years.
She was an accomplished seamstress and gardener. She delighted in creating crafts and clothing for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Garnold Scott; and two sisters, Erma Stone and Fern Wilson;
Survivors include a host of extended family members and friends.
Services were Saturday, Jan. 24, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darren Morris officiating. Burial was in Licking Cemetery.
