REGGIE SKOUBY 

Reginald Reggie “Scooby Doo” Wade Skouby, age 59, son of Bill and Mary Louise (Tate) Skouby, was born Aug. 21, 1955, in Houston, Mo. He passed away Jan. 6, 2015, at his home in Houston, Mo.

Reggie and his family moved back to Houston, Mo., in 1970. He attended Houston High School, graduating in 1974. He joined the United States Navy and served 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Louise; and one sister, Renie Skouby Elliott.

He is survived by his son, Shawn Skouby and wife, Shell, of Houston, Mo.; a daughter, Whitney Williams of Houston, Mo.; one sister, Pam Hill and husband, Mike, of Illinois; grandchildren, Serenity Paige Malota, Eli Allen Charles Norton, Rain Skouby and Legend, who will arrive in February.

Reggie enjoyed riding motorcycles, restoring classic cars, collecting coins and gems. He had high dreams of relocating to Colorado, on his motorcycle, with his best friend, Tommy Wyatt. Reggie was a night owl and stayed up late talking with his friends and family or watching one of his favorite movies.

He will be missed by those who knew and loved him best.

Services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Villapiano officiating. Pallbearers were Nathan Young, Tom Wyatt, Tyler Pippin, Ronnie Bell, Gary Keller and Gary Riley. Burial was in Allen Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
