VIVIAN ICEĀ 

Vivian Faye (McKinney) Ice was born Sept. 28, 1924, in Tyrone, Mo., to Jack and Claudia (Miller) McKinney. She passed away Jan. 10, 2015, at Texas County Memorial Hospital, Houston, Mo., at the age of 90.

She attended school in Big Creek and Summersville. Faye accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She married Elmer Oneal Ice on Sept. 29, 1942; to this union four children were born.

Faye was well known for her gardening and flowers, beautiful sewing and quilting and loved to cook and bake for people.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Ice; eight siblings, Lester, Lloyd, Ted, Ray, Roy, Harold, Robert McKinney and Ruth McKinney Lay; and two granddaughters, Holly Leonard Watson and Jeanie Ice.

Faye is survived by her four children, Kenneth Ice of Fremont, Mo., Ronald Ice and wife, Betty, of Houston, Mo., Roger Ice and wife, June, of Houston, Mo., and Carol Leonard of Mtn. Home, Ark.; four grandchildren, Danny Ice and wife, Molly, of Fremont, Mo., Clinton Ice of Mtn. Home, Ark., Adam Leonard and wife, Kristie, of Killeen, Texas, and Tim Malam and wife, Darcy, of Houston, Mo.; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at Evans Funeral Home. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at Ozark Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Jetton and Pastor Todd Haley officiating. Pallbearers will be Clinton Ice, Tim Malam, Darren Ice, David Watson, Bill McKinney and Walter E. Bailey. Honorary pallbearers are Adam Leonard, Cody Leonard and Becky Carter. Burial will be in Ozark Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
