WILLIAM FOSTER

FOSTER, William Dale, 67 passed on Dec. 25, 2014, with his son and daughter at his side. William was born April 23, 1947, in Houston, Mo. He was the son of William Isaac and Ruby Lorene Foster, nee Daugherity.

Dale graduated, class of 1965, from Houston High School after attending grades 1-8 in his hometown of Raymondville, Mo. He served in the United States Army from December of 1968 through November 1970, earning the National Defense Service Medal and Expert Marksmanship Badge. He held the rank of SP5. He settled in St. Charles, Mo., were he worked as a Union Carpenter, out of Local 32, until he retired in 2002.

After retirement, he was “living the dream” when he moved to his property in New Florence, Mo. He loved hunting, fishing, attending auctions, growing fruit trees and driving his tractor. He was a true outdoors man. He was well known for his tell it like it is personality, but all in all, his children and grandchildren were his life.

Dear brother to James (Ann) Foster of Hillsboro, Mo., Alma Thomas of Elk Creek, Mo., Shelia Miller of Houston, Mo., Donald (Nancy) Foster of Houston, Mo., Dorothy (Richard) Perkins of Houston, Mo., and Bobby (Glenda) Foster of East Alton, Ill. Loving grandpa to Anthony Joseph Burke, April Elizabeth Burke, Savannah Danielle Foster, William Carlos Foster and Alexa Joy Foster as well as step-grandpa to Jessica Ann (David) Bradshaw (Baby Greyson Chet), Toni Lee Hoffelder and Adriana Angelica Perez.

Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial is as follows: January 10th, 2015 – Raymondville Fair Grounds, Park Street, Raymondville, Mo. 65555. 12-2 p.m. memorial dinner; 2 p.m. memorial service; 3:30 p.m. military honors at Allen Cemetery.
