A woman from Licking was injured Friday afternoon when her vehicle ran off a Phelps County road, struck a culvert and overturned, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Tpr. Jonny Fariole said the eastbound 2006 Ford Escape driven by Britta N. Karnes, 27, ran off Highway ZZ just west of Highway K. Karnes, who was wearing a seat belt, refused treatment for minor injuries.Â
The vehicle was totaled. Karnes was cited for DWI – drugs and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident. She was released after being ticketed, Fariole said.Â
