Myrtle Frances Coltrain, 78, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015.

She was born June 22, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of Clifford Frank
Cutler and Lola Loraine Foland Cutler. She and Joe Emery Coltrain were married June 19, 1955.

She accompanied her husband, Joe, to Japan from 1956-’57. They lived in California until 1969 then
moved to Colorado. While living in Colorado, she was a legal secretary. She was church pianist and organist in her church for many years.

In 1992, they moved to their farm near
Licking. She loved living there. 


She enjoyed gardening, canning and working with their livestock. She was an accomplished seamstress for many years.

She was preceded in death by three children, Patrick Lee Coltrain, Diane Elizabeth Smith and Joann Allice Madden.

Survivors include her husband, Joe; two sisters, Karen Denton and Judy Frederick; a son, Michael Allan Coltrain; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Saturday, Feb. 7, in Boone Creek Cemetery with Gene Scott speaking. Services were under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
