A Summersville teenager was injured Saturday night in a crash in Osage County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Authorities said Tiffany D. Pobst, 18, was driving a northbound 2009 Hyundai Elantra that partially traveled off the right side of the roadway and collided with a mailbox. Troopers said the driver overcorrected, the vehicle travelled off the left side of the roadway, collided with a fence and overturned.
Pobst, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center at Rolla following the accident on Highway 89 about two miles north of Highway D.
The vehicle had extensive damage.
