The City of Houston has made one of its buses available to people wishing to attend the meeting this evening (Monday, March 2)  at Fort Leonard Wood regarding proposed major cuts to personnel numbers.

Mayor Don Tottingham said one of the city’s two qualified drivers would provide transportation, and that anyone interested in going to the meeting should contact the city on Monday at 417-967- 3348.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m., so the bus would likely have to depart at 4 p.m., Tottingham said.

Mo. Gov. Jay Nixon and Sens. Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt are expected to attend.
