The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Sonya R. Byrd, 32, of 18230 Brushy Creek Road at Houston, was arrested March 26 for having an active City of Houston warrant for possession of marijuana. An officer, who knew of the warrant, made the arrest after observing Byrd parked in the lot at Town and County Supermarket on U.S. 63.
She was taken to the Texas County Jail, where she posted $500 bond and was released.
•Joshua W. Holt, 23, of 9242 Friendship Drive at Raymondville, was arrested March 7 for having two active Texas County warrants for driving while revoked. An officer, who knew of the warrants, made the arrest after observing Holt in a vehicle parked at a U.S. 63 gas station. He was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he posted $2,000 bond and was released.
•Nathan C. Young, 27, and Heather A. Young, 25, both of 8198 Morton Road in Houston, were each issued citations for stealing under $500 March 17 after allegedly eating several items inside Dollar General in Houston without paying for them.
