Military veteran

Randall Arthur Chase, 66, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015.

He was born Nov. 27, 1948, in South Gate, Calif., son of Arthur and Maryann Hunn Chase.

He joined the Marines when he was 19. He was a military policeman for five years.

He held several jobs, including police officer, bartender and bus driver. After several months of living on the streets, he joined the Navy when he was 34 and stayed for 10 years.

After leaving the Navy, he moved the family in 1993 to Licking. He became and later retired as a truck driver. After retiring, he worked at Walmart.

He loved to fish, camp, swim, BBQ and enjoy the outdoors. He loved sports, especially baseball. He enjoyed being around family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Lyrna; two older brothers, Ron and Rick; three daughters, Jackie, Randi and Karen; a stepson, Mahrk; and one grandchild.

Memorial services were Tuesday, March 3, at Licking Christian Church with Mr. Rick Mosher officiating. Cremation was under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
