The Houston Senior Center announced the availability of in-home services to aid in performing such chores as house cleaning, laundry, shopping, errands, meal preparation and caring for a loved one while the family member needs to be away.
Those who are 60 years of age or older or caring for someone 60 or older are eligible.
The program is funded by the federal Older Americans Act and coordinated by the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging and the local senior center.
