Stella Adeline Barnett Mash, 94, passed away Monday, March 23, 2014, at Mountain View Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1921, in Shannon County, daughter of James Julian and Cordelia Elizabeth Jewell Barnett. She and Edwin Wayne Mash were married June 5, 1958.
She was baptized at Forks of the Creek south of Arroll. She attended Summersville Church of Christ until she moved to Mountain View.
She worked many years as a clerk for the Farmers Exchange (MFA) in Summersville. She helped her husband, Edwin, with their milking operation for several years.
She enjoyed reading and sharing books with others. She spent time doing crossword puzzles.
She was the last of seven siblings.
Survivors include many extended family members and friends.
Graveside services were Friday, March 27, in Summersville City Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
