A Summersville teenager was injured Friday night in a Shannon County wreck that resulted in charges, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Joshua P. Carnes, 17, was driving a westbound 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier on Highway 106 about five miles west of Eminence that ran off the left side of the roadway, returned to the roadway and travelled off the right side of the highway before coming to rest in a ditch, said Tpr. C.L. Davis.
Carnes, who refused treatment at the scene, was arrested on charges of DWI, minor in possession of alcohol and careless and imprudent driving. He was taken to the Shannon County Jail and later released.
The patrol said the vehicle had moderate damage.
