The following are excerpts of reports generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:
•A man called at about 1 a.m. March 8 to report his 2015 Ford F-150 pickup had been stolen from his Schultz Road residence. An investigating officer determined the man’s girlfriend had the truck. She was contacted and returned it.
•A deputy investigated a report of property damage at about 7:50 p.m. March 8 at a Gravel Point Road residence at Mountain Grove.
A 39-year-old woman who lives there showed the officer a door and window on a dairy parlor that appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. There are no suspects.
•A woman called at about 9:25 p.m. March 7 to report a suspicious vehicle on Highway AP. The woman stated three people in the vehicle – described as a 1980s model white Ford pickup – were yelling and cursing and making threats.
An investigating officer reported that the truck was gone upon arrival.
•A man called March 3 to report property damage at his Highway Y property at Willow Springs.
The man told an investigating officer about an acre of seeded land had been apparently been destroyed by an ATV. The man named two Howell County males – ages 18 and 16 – as possible suspects. Investigation of the matter continues.
•A deputy was dispatched at about 2:20 p.m. March 7 regarding a report of a man slumped over in a maroon Chrysler sedan on Highway VV about a mile from Highway AB, near Licking. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
