The unemployment rate in Texas County was unchanged in February at 8.1 percent, the Missouri Department of Economic Development said.
The agency said the employed figure in the county was 9,495. Unemployed stood at 767, down three from January.
In south-central Missouri, the average jobless rate in February was 7.8 percent. Area counties and their unemployment rates: Douglas, 7.4; Howell, 7.5; Shannon, 9.9; and Wright, 7.1.
