Velma Florene Gale Hardester, 60, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015.
She was born March 15, 1955, in Licking, daughter of Artis Lee and Mary Josephine Hall Gale. She and Ronald Wayne Hardester were married Aug. 20, 1976 in Beulah.
She devoted her life to raising and caring for her daughter and grandsons. She loved babies. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends and being involved in her daughter and her grandsons’ lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald; a daughter, Mary Jo Hardester; a stepson, Little Ronnie; and two brothers, Denny and Junior Lee Gale.
Survivors include three grandsons; her stepmother, Judy Gale; her siblings, Christine Karnes, Rosie Ingle, Jolene Tuner, Sharon James; Donetta James, Dorothy Bates, Sam, Tommy Ray; Mike, Benji, Matthew and Sarah Bacon; and a host of other family members.
Services were Monday, March 30, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Everett Perkins officiating. Burial was in Hutchason Cemetery.
