Wilma Faye McKinney Douglas, 76, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, in Atlantic, Iowa.
She was born Oct. 25, 1938, in Tyrone, daughter of Ted and Bertha McKinney.
She grew up in the Tyrone area. She attended grade school at Big Creek and Summersville High School. She worked at H.D. Lee plant in Houston and spent her later years in Cumberland, Iowa.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her sons and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Walter McKinney, Jackie McKinney and Kenneth McKinney; a sister, Beth McKinney Goodman; and former husband, Donald Douglas.
Survivors include three sons, Brian Douglas of Forsyth, Gene Douglas of Cumberland and Mark Douglas of Houston; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Keith McKinney of Jennings; four sisters, Dorothy Henry of Glen Carbon, Ill., Jewell McKinney of Saint Ann, Gladys Garrett of Success and Carol Terrill of Fort Worth, Texas; and other family members.
A memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Houston Lions Club. Cremation was under the direction of Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa.
