Joseph Lloyd York, 56, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at his home.
He was born Feb. 28, 1939, in Licking, son of Cyrus and Lydia Hebblethwaite. He and Elvinia Marie Warthen were married June 5, 1965, in Licking.
He enjoyed working out in the woods, hunting and visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Lynn York; a brother, Jim York; and four infant siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Elvinia; a son, Clifford Wayne York; seven sisters, Zelta Garrison, Pat Hood, Betty James, Martha Ice, Grace Dunkin, Mary Jane York and Ruby Craig; three brothers, Wes York, Bill York and John York; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were Saturday, April 4, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Gorman officiating.
