The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Shawn W. Skouby, 39, of 426 Fourth St. in Houston, was arrested April 25 for having an active Texas County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer who was aware of the warrant arrested Skouby at his residence at about 7 p.m.
He was taken to the Texas County jail where he was unable to post $50,000 bond.
•Joseph A. Kaplan, 19, of Route 1 Box 209 in Summersville, was issued citations for minor in possession of alcohol, careless and imprudent driving and no insurance after a two-vehicle accident April 12 on U.S. 63 in front of the Missouri Department of Transportation shed. A passenger in the vehicle was also cited for minor possession of alcohol – Laken C. Pierce, 19, of 614 Michael Stihl Road in Mountain View.
