Nadatha S. Walker, 24, of 339 Cherry St. in Sparta, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly attempting to shoplift at the Houston Walmart on March 26.
•Billy J. Hayes Jr., 24, of 216 Bryan St. in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly swiping $280 cash from the wallet of a 21-year-old Houston man on April 3. The victim told police he had given Hayes a ride and the money had been taken when he left his car to go inside a store for a short time and Hayes remained in the car.
•A 47-year-old Raymondville man reported April 6 that numerous items with a total value of $1,547.05 had been stolen from a storage unit of his on U.S. 63 in Houston. An investigating officer stated the facility has no surveillance cameras, and there are no suspects.
