A 5K run next month in Willow Springs will benefit Special Olympics Missouri.
The Sgt. David D. Finley Memorial 5K Fun run is presented by Willow Care Nursing Home. A kiddie race begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:45 a.m.
Trophies will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place runners overall as well as medals for the top three finishers in age groups. Ribbons will be given to all finishers of the kiddie race.
Cost is $20 if pre-registered by April 30 or $25 the day of the race from 7:30-8:30 a.m. The kiddie run is $10.
