Texas County’s unemployment rate was unchanged in March at 8.1 percent, the Missouri Department of Economic Development said.
The agency said the civil labor force stood at 9,506, which was up 11 from previous month. Unemployed was estimated at 770.
In south-central Missouri, the average jobless rate in March was 8 percent. Area counties and their unemployment rates: Douglas, 7.7; Howell, 7.8; Shannon, 10.6; and Wright, 7.1.
