Bonnie L. Bell Smith, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Summersville, daughter of Emmett B. and Eva L. Pitts Bell. She and Ernest P. Smith were married March 20, 1949.
She was a housewife and enjoyed helping her husband, Earnest, on the farm. She also enjoyed her flowers and garden.
She was preceded in death by her infant son; her parents; and three brothers, Norman, Robert Lee and Charles.
Survivors include her husband, Earnest of the home; a son, Larry; three grandsons; two great-grandsons; a sister, Evelyn Gruben of Summersville; caregivers, Robert and Amy Jo DeMitry; and many other family members.
Services were Friday, May 22, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Rogers. Burial was in Summersville City Cemetery.
