David Paul Jones, 67, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He grew up in the Winona/Birch Tree area and graduated from Winona High School. He was a heavy equipment operator at Royal Oak Charcoal Plant in Summersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna Jones; five brothers; three sisters; and two grandsons.
Survivors include his wife, Priscilla “Pat” Jones; two daughters, Melissa and Amanda; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Jones; and many other extended family members.
Memorial services were Saturday, May 23, at Hartshorn Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Services were under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
