Members of the Houston High School choir earned 39 medals at the 2015 State Music Festival.
The girls’ double quartet comprised of Nikki Coleman, Elizabeth Scott, Elisa Williamson, Marley Stoops, Laura Monks, Lexi Morgan, Demi Creek and Summer Floyd received a “I” rating with a perfect score. Taylor Bryson and Nikki Coleman received “I” Medals for the vocal solos.
Elisa Williamson received a “II” medal for her piano solo with Lexi Morgan, Caleb Adkison, Tayler Ward and Phorona Thomas receiving “II” medals for their vocal solos.
Student receiving “II” medals in vocal ensemble were: Megan Morland, Elisa Williamson, Liz Harris, Leanna Schafer, Tayler Ward (2), Kyler Stark (2), Caleb Adkison (2), Taylor Bryson (2), Noah Moseley, Keegan Spurlin, Skylur Malam, Adri Bard, Jaden Beasley, Carly Crawford, Kaitlyn Root, Destinee Ullom, Sydney Anderson, Jefferson Thomas (2) and Lance Smith.
