Houston’s Landmark Bank announced Wednesday it will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week beginning Monday at a new enhanced drive-thru location.

Using new video teller technology, the enhanced drive-thru location on South Sam Houston Blvd. provides an opportunity to interact with bankers, using a larger screen than a traditional drive-thru.

“We’re excited to be able to offer the convenience of weekend hours to our customers,” said Shon Aguero, retail banking executive. “We’re all busy, and we have grown used to doing our shopping and other business in the evening, on weekends, whenever we can get to it. There is no reason banking should be different,” he added.

Landmark’s Houston president is Eric Wells.

Landmark Bank, celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, is a community bank with $2.1 billion in assets and 42 locations in 28 communities across Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
