A woman from Licking was injured Friday, May 8, in a crash south of her hometown.

A Licking woman was injured Friday morning in a crash south of her hometown.

Tpr. J.R. Sellars said a southbound 2005 Mazda 6 driven by Caroline A. Goforth, 34, ran off Highway 137 about four miles south of Licking and struck a utility pole.

Goforth, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital.

The vehicle, said Sellars, had extensive damage.
