A Plato accident at Highway 32 and Plato Drive left a man from Licking with moderate injuries early Sunday, June 21. 

A man from Licking received moderate injuries early Sunday in a crash that totaled his vehicle at Plato, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Cpl. Terry Nelson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said an eastbound 1999 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Derrick W. Wells, 34, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned at Highway 32 and Plato Drive. 

Wells, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital after the 3:13 a.m. crash.
