Vicki Lynn Wildhaber Shockley, 63, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
She was born in Pontiac, Ill., daughter of Robert and Esther Wildhaber.
She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and Summersville Wildcats, especially when one of her kids or grandkids were playing.
Vicki played softball most of her life and was known for playing barefooted. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed roasting a hog with the Wildhabers in Raymondville or grilling hotdogs at home.
She accepted the Lord as her savior and was baptized by her brother-in-law, Danny. She made the First Christian Church her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Freddy.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Shockley of the home; two sons, Rodney and Scot of Summersville; a daughter, Nikki of Summersville; four grandchildren; 12 siblings; a special friend, Debbie; and other friends and video.
Services were Wednesday, June 17, at First Christian Church in Summersville with the Rev. Paul Hamm officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
