Thomas Dwain Harrison, 83, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Licking Park Manor.

He was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Bado, son of Jesse and Oma Smith Harrison. He and Anna L. Panetta were married April 18, 1953.

He served six years in the Air Force before marrying his wife, Anna. They lived eight years in Baltimore, Md., working at Westinghouse. They moved back to Missouri in 1961 and bought a farm. He continued to work in St. Louis until he retired in 1993.

He loved working and tinkering with farm machinery and raising various animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna; seven sisters, Marcella, Marie, Marjorie, Marva, Mavis, Arla and Ruth; and a brother, Dale.

Survivors include six children, Nina Wake of Cabool, Roger Harrison of West Plains, Deborah McKee and Dawn Stroup of Licking, Colleen Kirkman of Sumersville and Jess Harrison of St. Louis; 21 grandchildren; several great- and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were Saturday, July 25, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastor David Barbee officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
