Houston police handled several investigations during the last week.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•James W. Fithen, 30, of 614 N. Second St. in Houston, was issued a citation for private peace disturbance after an officer investigated a report by a woman who stated excessively loud music was coming from a vehicle on Steffens Street.

The officer located the vehicle on Broadway Street. The officer stated he has warned Fithen in the past about loud music.

•Matthew J. Ramsey, 28, of 16490 Hog Creek Road at Houston, was issued a citation for first-degree trespassing after he was seen at Walmart at about 8:15 p.m. June 28. Ramsey had been banned from all Walmart properties May 29 after being charged with shoplifting.
