The high school football season kicks off Monday morning on the first official day of practices.
Houston High School – under the direction of first-year head coach Eric Sloan – will practice from 7-10 a.m. Monday through Friday. Sloan said all students who intend to play in 2015 should participate.
HHS opens its season Aug. 21 at Hollister. The first home game is the following Friday against St. James.
The Tigers were winless in 2014 and have lost 16 straight games dating back to a 40-36 win against Cabool on Sept. 20, 2013.
