Rep. Jason Smith and Rep. Robert Ross visited the new Texas County 911 Center in Houston during an open house Saturday afternoon.
Both representatives received tours of the building – which previously housed the county sheriff’s office and jail – from Donna Robertson, director of the Texas County Emergency Service.
Many law enforcement officials were present for the public event. Among them were Texas County sheriff James Sigman, Houston police chief Jim McNiell, Licking police chief Scott Lyndsay and Cabool police chief Jerald Sigman.
