Susan Rosemary Aldridge Mooney, 57, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at her home in Tyrone.
She was born April 22, 1958, in Cabool, daughter of Oral and Audrey Nichols Aldridge. She and Bill Mooney were married in 1990.
She attended the Tyrone School House and graduated from Summersville High School in 1976. She resided most of her life in Tyrone.
She was baptized in 1998 at Tyrone at the age of 40. She was a member of the Tyrone Free Will Baptist Church.
She loved the outdoors. She found enjoyment in her yard work in the summer and treasured time spent with family and friends.
She worked at Paramount Headwear, Angelica, Pineview Christian Home, Town and Country and Shrivers Cabinets until becoming disabled in 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Danny Joe Aldridge, Garold Dee Aldridge and Harold Wayne Aldridge.
Survivors include a daughter, Shalea Mooney of Tyrone; three sisters, Jean McAlister of Piedmont, Patty Aldridge of Tyrone and Anette Hartman of Summersville; six nieces; five nephews; special friends, Deb, Bren and Lesa; and many other family members and friends.
Services were Friday, July 10, at Evans Funeral Home with Melvin Williams officiating. Burial was in Tyrone Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
