An accident occurred Thursday when a vehicle hydroplaned on U.S. 63 north of Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. Curtis Haden said a 1997 Lincoln Towncar driven northbound by Tracie L Gammon, 34, of Houston, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a guard rail end cap and a ditch.
Gammon, who sustained moderate injuries and was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. A passenger, Brandon L. Tharp, 15, of Licking, was taken in a private vehicle to TCMH. He was wearing a seat belt, Haden said.
