Texas County Farm Bureau will host its annual steak dinner for members from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, in the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds.Â
Steaks and drinks will be provided, and members are asked to bring a covered dish and table service.
The event’s guest speaker will be Garrett Hawkins, director of national legislative programs for Farm Bureau, who will discuss the many legislative actions pending that are expected to affect not only farmers and ranchers, but rural communities as well.
The event will include an auction, with a Mossberg International 22LR (with magazine) as the main item. Â
