Bethany Dean (Cooper) Heiney, 58, daughter of Dean and Betty (Perryman) Cooper, was born Sept. 5, 1956, in Houston, Mo. She passed away Aug. 5, 2015, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo.

She married Daniel Heiney on Nov. 10, 1979, at Raymondville Methodist Church.

Beth was preceded in death by her husband; her father; three sisters, Betty Jean, Barbara Jo and Beverly Ann; and two brothers, Bennie Charles and Billy Michael.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Cooper of Houston, Mo.; three sons, Gary Heiney and wife, Diane, of Houston, Mo., Jacob Heiney of the home and Seth Bryson of Fulton, Mo.; sister, Bonnie Neal of Houston, Mo.; three grandsons, Bryson Storm, Christopher Anderson and Justice; two granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer Anderson; two uncles; one aunt; and several nieces and nephews.

Beth attended grade school at Raymondville, Mo., and graduated from Houston High School in 1974.

Beth was a member of Brown Hill Baptist Church. She was baptized as a teenager. She and Terry Snelling played music at several churches and nursing homes.

Beth loved to cook, crochet and play dominoes. She worked at H. D. Lee, Rawlings and as a home health provider for several years before losing her sight.

She will be lovingly missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2015, at Evans Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Snelling and Jackie Cooper officiating. Pallbearers are Tim Williams, Keith Baker, Tony Heiney, David Simmons, Andy Franklin and Jason Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Mack Cooper and Jerry Spencer. Burial was in Brown Hill Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
