Clyde Dale Collins, 69, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2014, at Harper Hospital in Harper, Kan.
He was born March 10, 1946, in Springfield, son of Zealous H. and Cleda A. Gaither Collins.
He graduated from Houston High School. As a freshman, he was named outstanding ag student and received a heifer.
He enjoyed coon hunting. He loved his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Marie and Zealous Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Arnett; two sons, Terry and Tracy; eight siblings, Norman, Mary, Bud, Lucille, Robert, Louise, Cleta and Larry; and many other family members and friends.
Services were Monday, Aug. 17, at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony, Kan., with Pastor Kim Martin officiating. Burial was in Attica Cemetery in Attica, Kan.
