Duell “Pug” Mallett, 75, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, in Houston.

He was born April 15, 1940, in Pendall, Ark.

He was a soldier, welder and retired from Chrysler Motors after 37 years. He was also a pilot and an avid collector of guns.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; a daughter, Dana Leigh; two sisters, Mosean and Maggie; an infant twin brother; and his parents.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Dawn; two sons, John Henry and Marshall Kent; two granddaughters; three grandsons; a sister, Brenda Lu; and many other family members.

Services were Sunday, Aug. 23, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Carrigan officiating. Burial was in Williams Cemetery.
