The Houston Police Department issued citations following investigations during the last week.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Lloyd R. Hill, 56, of 11998 Highway 38 at Cabool, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance after a traffic stop on Highway 17 at about 9 a.m. July 30.

An officer who knew Hill’s license was revoked made the stop after observing him driving a Dodge pickup. After making contact with Hill, the officer observed that his speech was slurred and field sobriety tests were conducted.

Hill was taken to the Texas County Jail.

•Debbra D. Cook, 50, of 11416 Jacktar Road at Licking, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting several items from Walmart at about 3:45 p.m. Aug. 1.

•Kenneth J. Hall, 54, of 731 Faye St. in Houston, was arrested July 28 for having active West Plains Police Department warrants for failure to display current license plates and careless and imprudent driving. An officer made the arrest after observing Hall hitchhiking on the east shoulder of U.S. 63.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail.

•Daniel K.E. Sheppard, 21, of 107B Cedar St. in Houston, was arrested at his residence on July 29 for having an active municipal warrant for stealing under $500.

•James L. Hutsell, 30, of 526 Main Street in Cabool, was arrested at the state probation and parole office in Houston on July 30 for having an active probation violation warrant.

•Johnnie D. Clinton, 54, of 13220 Highway FF in Bucyrus, was issued a citation on July 25 for displaying the plates of another.
