A 53-year-old inmate at the South Central Correctional Center at Licking died Wednesday morning.
Larry Mahoney was serving a 40-year sentence for two counts of forcible rape, three counts of forcible sodomy and kidnapping from Greene County. He had been in prison since 2001, officials said.
An autopsy will be conducted, and no foul play is suspected.
