The Houston Farmers Market is undertaking a project to improve signage downtown and raise additional operation funds for the endeavor, which is open twice a week at Lone Star Plaza.
“These funds will be utilized to continue efforts in promoting awareness of our market and to build a foundation for our market to operate more independently in function and opportunity,” explains Randee Cary, secretary/treasurer of Houston Farmers Market, which is open Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings.
The cost is $60 for a 6 x 18 inch sign and $110 for a 12 x 18 inch sign. They will appear below a sign recently erected near the plaza.
For more information, contact Cary at 417-217-2674. The address is Houston Farmers Market, c/o Randee Cary, 13945 Arthur Road, Houston.
