Graveside services: 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in St. Louis

Edward Ryan Daum, 71, of Houston, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at his home.

He was born March 14, 1944, in St. Louis.

He attended Southwest High and graduated from Holy Innocents School in St. Louis. He was a truck driver for many years.

He preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Winifred Tegtmeier and John Gadell; a brother, James Daum; and a daughter, Kathleen.

He is survived by Darlene Witt of the home in Houston; his step-children, Eddie, Jeff and John Witt, Charlene Dapprich and Victoria Witt; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn “Marty” Swindell of Oak Grove; and two step-sisters, Garnet Smith and Glenna Hussman.

Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 11, in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in St. Louis with Deacon Jim Murphy officiation. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
