The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a truck pull this evening at its fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
Gates will open at 4 p.m., with competition beginning at 6 p.m. The event features members of the Southern Missouri Tractor and Truck Pulling Association.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Kids under 5 get in free. A cook shack will be available.
Event organizers have set a “rain date” of Oct. 10.
