A Licking man was seriously injured Saturday when his vehicle ran off Highway 17 and struck a fence and a tree.
Jacob M. Young, 22, was operating the southbound 1989 Chevrolet S-10 about two miles north of Bucyrus. Young, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital, said Tpr. Justin Piccinino of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The vehicle was totaled.
