Dolores Faye (Garrett) Warner, 60, daughter of Delmar and Juanita (Wolfe) Garrett, was born
April 18, 1955, in Success, Mo. She passed away Oct. 6, 2015, at her home in Houston, Mo.
Dolores grew up in the Success area and graduated from Houston High School in 1973.
She worked many years at Texas County Memorial Hospital in the medical records department. She was a true professional and loved helping people.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Bettie Kell; and one niece, Brenda Mason.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Pierce and husband, Dugan; four grandchildren, Shelby Smith, Haden Smith, Karsen Pierce and Hayden Pierce; and six sisters, Barb Willson and husband, Carl, Beverly Green and husband, John, Bonnie Warner, Donna Taylor and husband, Jim, Evelyn Galligher and husband, Jack and Ruby Richardson. She is also survived by many more family members and friends that she had made over the years.
Dolores was a member of the Clara Baptist Church. She loved the fellowship shared there with her friends and looked forward to the services.
She loved doing crafts and worked many hours making gifts for others. It was a source of enjoyment for her to give away these special gifts of love. Shopping was another activity she took part in looking forward to time spent with family and friends.
The greatest joy of her life was her grandchildren. Whatever they were involved in she was interested in it and wanted to be part of it.
She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Memorial services were 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Clara Baptist Church with Paul Murray officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
