Texas County merchants collected about 7 percent more sales tax revenue in the latest monthly distribution compared to a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
Revenue from each of three half-cent sales taxes totaled $78,538, which was up $5,215 on each for the month. For the year, revenue on each totals about $871,400 on each. That’s up about 4 percent for the first 10 months of the year compared to 2014.
