Herbert F. Sears, 82, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 23, 1932, in Xenia, Ohio, son of Arthur and Opal Gordon Sears. He and Joanna were married Jan. 8, 1992.
He served in the Army and retired as a sergeant.
He was very particular in keeping his place neat and tidy. He enjoyed cleaning and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Joanna Sears of the home in Houston.
Graveside services were Monday, Nov. 2, in Pine Lawn Cemetery with Pastor David Barbee officiating. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
